With all of its gorgeous mountain tops making for beautiful scenery all over the area, Summit County is a wonderful place to vacation. It has some of the best lodging that is sure to keep guests snug and comfortable throughout their stay. Lodging
There are plenty of lodging options for vacationers in Summit County. However some of the best, with the most to offer in terms of comfort are Cabin in the Pines and Alpine Slopes Lodge located in Keystone, Horstmann House Bed and Breakfast in Georgetown, and Dillon Inn in Dillon. All three of these lodges have plenty to offer guests to ensure that they feel right at home during their stay.
Cabin in the Pines is a luxury house located in the mountains near the edge of the National Forest. It has three bedrooms with a loft and three full bathrooms so everyone can have their own space if needed.
There is a heated floor which is perfect for those cold winters, a real fireplace made of rock, cathedral style ceilings, and a detached garage.
It also has a washing machine and dryer available for use, and a microwave, range, dishwasher, and disposal available in the kitchen. There is also a hot tub and a deck on the second floor with a spectacular view of the Keystone Mountain. The cabin is accessibly situated on the Keystone Resort Bus System.
Alpine Slopes Lodge has two double rooms with microwaves and refrigerators in each room. The beds in each room are equipped with Tempur Pedic Bedding and free wireless internet.
There also are nonsmoking rooms available for those who would prefer to not be around smokers, fitness room for those who like to stay in shape, and a family suite. The lodge offers continental breakfast, a beautiful view of the mountains, and is walking distance from the shops in the area.
Hortsmann House Bed and Breakfast has three suites with king-size beds, heated mattress pads, alarm clocks, and marbled bathrooms. There is a large hot tub on the back deck, electric fireplaces in two of the three rooms, and a library with a fireplace inside.
The B&B also offers nightly turn down service and an iron, ironing board, and hair dryer upon request. At nights the B&B holds traditional fires where guests gathers and relax after long days of fun.
Dillon Inn is a luxury hotel with free cable and wireless internet, hot tub and sauna, indoor pool, and nonsmoking rooms available. It also offers continental breakfasts for guests.
Activities
While on vacation, guests can enjoy hiking, sleigh riding, skiing, hiking, golfing, rafting, sailing, ice skater, and a slew of other activities. To partake in these activities, guests can contact the lodges and they will set everything up.
